International Violence and Responsibility: January 9, 2008

Choreographer Ea Sola joined faculty members and social justice leaders from The William Joiner Center for the Study of War and Social Consequences (U.Mass Boston) for a panel discussion on International Violence and Responsibility.

The panelists discussed the political, cultural and spiritual impact of war and violence, trauma and memory, and the challenges of representing and exploring these issues in various art forms, primarily dance and poetry. The discussion continued over dinner at 13 East Wheelock House, hosted by Dartmouth Professor of Philosophy Susan Brison.
