Dartmouth YouTube Channel

Dartmouth launched the Dartmouth YouTube channel in the fall of 2008. The channel hosts videos of major campus events, including the announcement of the 17th President Jim Yong Kim, as well as lectures and events from groups around the College, such as the Rockefeller Center and the Montgomery Fellowship.

We welcome submissions from the Dartmouth community. Please read the guidelines below for information on posting content to the YouTube channel. If you have questions, please email hometeam@dartmouth.edu.

Guidelines

  • Read the Guidelines for Publishing Dartmouth-Generated Media carefully to determine when permission is or is not required.
  • Most events and performances require a signed release form from the presenter/performer, and some types of materials, such as third-party recorded music, require permission from the recording company. Plan in advance and get the necessary signatures! We cannot post video that does not have the required permissions.
  • If you are working with the Media Production Group to record an event, ask them to post the final version to the Dartmouth YouTube channel. There is no additional charge for posting to YouTube. For questions about working with Media Project Group, please email Mike Murray at robert.m.murray@dartmouth.edu.
  • If you have a video that you would like to post to the Dartmouth YouTube channel, please contact hometeam@dartmouth.edu. Be sure to save a high-quality master of all your video projects! We cannot accept video that is small or of poor quality.
