Dartmouth’s new events calendar is (almost) open for business! The back-end of the new calendar system is up and running, and the public interface will go live at the end of the month along with the second phase of the website redesign.
Anyone who manages events sponsored by Dartmouth organizations is invited to an information session. Learn how the new calendar can help you plan and promote your events, get answers to your questions, and test drive the new system.

Building a new public-facing events calendar has been part of the website redesign project since summer 2012. During the website research & discovery phase, the desire for a modern calendar emerged loud and clear. It came up in nearly every conversation, interview, and survey response.
Website users wanted an easy way to find what is happening at Dartmouth. Event sponsors wanted an effective channel to promote events, as well as to reduce the administrative burden of the copy/paste publishing of event information across multiple, disconnected websites and systems.
We’ve worked hard to address those needs with the new calendar and hope that you’ll find it does the job. Come to a session and check it out!
And if you can’t make one of these times, don’t worry. Training sessions will be offered on an ongoing basis.
