Transfer Credit Policy
The History Department will approve transfer credits for History majors and non-majors for only Dartmouth College's institutional exchange programs. For outside the United States those include:
- Bocconi University, Milan
- Choulalongkorn University (Engineering)
- Keble College/Oxford
- Killam Fellowships Program, Canada
- McGill University [Montreal]
- University of Copenhagen
- German Universities Exchange Program
- Keio University [Japan]
- Kanda University (Kuis)
- Yonsei University (Korea)
Within the United States they include:
- Morehouse and Spelman Colleges (Atlanta)
- University of California at San Diego (Muir College)
- Twelve-College Exchange:
- Amherst College
- Bowdoin College
- Connecticut (also National Theater Institute)
- Mount Holyoke College
- Mystic Seaport Program
- Smith College
- Trinity College
- Wellesley College
- Wesleyan University
- Wheaton College
- Williams College (Mystic Seaport Program)
- Vassar College
The Department will not approve transfer credit from any institution except those mentioned above.
