On Friday, March 30th:
@ 6pm Friday night services will be led by Asher Mayerson. This service will be a learner’s service, so if you want to learn how to lead services you should definitely come.
@7pm Friday night dinner cooked by Nick Parillo and his friends, so it is sure to be tasty.
We are now accepting RSVPs for this year’s seder. It will be taking place on the first night of passover, APRIL 6 at 6:45pm at the Roth Center. Please blitz Claudia Palmer with your DBA number (the 9-digit number that starts with an 86 on your ID) ASAP. To help cover the costs of food preparation and service, you will be charged $20 from your DBA. If you are interested in helping to lead the seder (reading in English or Hebrew), please blitz Asher Mayerson. If you want more information on the Passover Musical, please look below. If you would like to hold a family-style seder with a small group of friends (8-20 people), blitz Hillel ASAP to reserve a room in the Roth Center. If you would like to lead or attend an alternative seder (feminist, LGBTQA, etc.) please blitz the Hillel account.
Elections on April 2nd for Hillel Board positions
Hillel will hold elections for Israel Affairs Coordinator, House Manager, Treasurer, Communications Coordinator, Community Service Coordinator, Cooking Coordinator, Historian, Webmaster, and Sustainability Coordinator. If you want to run for a position, be sure to blitz Sophie Palitz by March 28th. Also, be sure to come to the Roth Center for General Meetings on April 2nd to vote!
Bagel Brunch this Sunday
Hillel is hosting a Bagel Brunch this Sunday at the Roth Center starting at 12:30! TASTY and FREE bagels, cider, and cookies!! What more could you ask for?
Passover Musical
Torrey Barrett is directing a Passover musical titled “Exodusical: The Musical,” which will be performed at the passover Seder on April 6th. It features songs by Britney Spears AND the Fresh Prince of Bel Air theme song. No experience is necessary! The play has many roles both large and small and only a few rehearsals. For more information blitz Torrey Barrett ASAP.
The Good Goy of the week is Dartmouth’s President Kim, who has recently been nominated by President Obama for the position of President of the World Bank. Although we will be sad to see President Kim leave our school, we are all very proud of his nomination and wish him well.
