What’s Happening This Week in the JEWNIVERSE

On Monday, January 9th:
@ 6pm, Open Exec meetings upstairs in the Roth Center. We will be doing fun calendar planning for this term.
@ 7pm, FREE DINNER during the general meetings downstairs in the Roth Center.

On Tuesday, January 10th:
Hebrew Lunch will be from 1-2pm at FoCo.

On Wednesday, January 11th:
Jews and Java from 3-5pm in town at the Dartmouth Bookstore

On Thursday, January 12th:
@ 4pm Rabbi will be moderating a panel discussion on the Occupy Dartmouth Movement. The panel discussion will include at least one or two students who are involved in the movement and then two faculty perspectives
@ 6pm Jew Crew Meeting at the Roth Center. Bring your non-Jewish friends too!

On Friday, January 13th:
From 4:00PM-5:30pm, the J Street U is hosting a special event open to all. Dr. Gershon Baskin speaks on his role in the negotiations that freed Gilad Shalit. This event will be held in Rocky 3
@ 6pm Friday night services
@7pm Free and Tasty Friday night dinner

Jew of the week:
Jerzy Kluger, a Jewish friend of Pope John Paul II, passed away this week. He was instrumental in helping Pope John Paul II and the Church improve relations between Catholics and Jews throughout the world.
