Krakow

At the beginning of the trip, the group spent two nights in Krakow.  In Krakow, they experienced a preserved historical city.  Some of the sites were purely cultural like Wawel Castle and the main square.  Other sites were of religious and historical significance like the Jewish quarter and synagogues.  The city provided a comfortable retreat from the horrors that everyone experienced at Auschwitz during the day spent in the area.
