Tobacco Cessation

Did you know that nicotine is actually more addictive than heroin? Smoking just four cigarettes can give a person a 90% chance of becoming addicted. With tobacco use causing more deaths in the U.S. than AIDS, automobile accidents, homicides, suicides, drug overdoses and fires combined, it's important that people are aware of the dangers of smoking. Dartmouth is focused on creating a tobacco-free campus.  Here are some additional resources about tobacco in general and tobacco cessation.

Dartmouth Resources

  • Smoking Cessation Groups and Services are coordinated by DHMC: Go to: Quitting Smoking for more information
