Sexual Assault Awareness Program

Mission Statement

The mission of the Dartmouth College Sexual Abuse Awareness Program, established in 1989, is threefold

1. To serve the needs of survivors of sexual abuse, relationship violence, and other forms of harassment. This includes advocacy, assistance in obtaining medical care, and assistance utilizing college judicial and/or police reporting procedures.

2. To educate the campus community about the problem of sexual abuse and it's prevention, and to empower students to act towards the elimination of sexual abuse.

3. To address issues of policy and procedure through advocacy for survivors' concerns in the college community.

All members of the Dartmouth community are encouraged to become involved.
