Naproxen is a member of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAIDs) family.

NSAIDs reduce inflammatation (swelling), pain, and temperature.

Naproxen is used to treat mild to moderate pain, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, menstrual cramps, tendonitis, bursitis, and other conditions.

Avoid taking aspirin or similar medicine (eg., ibuprofen) while taking this medication unless advised to do so by your health care provider.

Do not use this medicine if you have experienced asthma, runny nose with or without nasal polyps, or severe tightness in the chest after taking aspirin or similar medications.

Contact your health care provider if changes in vision occur.

This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness.  Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity.
