Health Service programs are funded primarily through tuition and the by term Health Access Fee applicable to all undergraduate, graduate and professional students. Active part-time graduate and professional students who are not charged the Health Access Fee may be charged an established fee for each office visit or any lab or x-rays done.
Students who are on a leave-term or not enrolled in classes, but who are classified as active in the College Information System (Banner), may enroll into the Health Service Eligibility Program for a non-refundable fee of $242.00 per term. Students enrolled in the Health Service Program are subject to the same fee for service schedules as registered students. Visit the Patient Accounts Office in room 112 to complete the required enrollment forms prior to making an appointment.
The Health Service currently charges a fee for the services listed below; however, it is subject to change without notice. Inquiries about costs should be directed to the Patient Accounts Office at 603/646-9439. We are unable to submit claims to insurance companies; however, upon request from the patient we will provide an itemized statement which he or she may submit to their health plan for reimbursement — Please send a request to Dicks.House.Patient.Accounts@Dartmouth.edu.
All active Dartmouth students, including those not taking classes or who are on a leave term, are eligible to receive services at the Health Service. Eligibility ceases when enrollment at Dartmouth College is terminated by withdrawal, separation or graduation. All Health Service eligible students must comply with the College's requirements for health insurance.
From September 1 through the day before classes begin for Winter Term.

Eligibility begins the day before Classes begin and goes through the day before classes begin of the following term.
Spouses and Domestic Partners of students are eligible for a program of selected primary care services through dependent enrollment in the Dartmouth Student Group Health Dependent Plan, or by enrolling into the Health Service Spouse and Domestic Partner Primary Care Program for an additional fee of $460.00 per term and must comply with the College's requirements for health insurance. A Domestic Partner is defined by the Dartmouth College Health Service Affidavit of Domestic Partnership.
*The Health Service doe not provide services for dependent children.

* Immunization fees are per dose and some require more than one dose.
* Patients will be responsible for lab, x-ray, and medication fees associated with an inpatient admission.
