We encourage all members to join us for the official kick off to the season. Traditionally this event does get sold out as we limit the number of entries to 144 players. Please sign up by May 11th. This year we will be honoring those members who have passed in the last year: Ruth Shepard, Judith Ketterer, Whitey Burnham, and Brenda Isaacs.
The format is a scramble, which is a great way for you to bond with your golf partners in a team play format. We also encourage singles to sign up and we can form foursomes with the singles – a great way to meet and bond with people you have not played with.
We also use part of the entry fees to make a donation to a worthy cause in the area – often with a strong tie to HCC.
The tournament is fun yet competitive, as there are great prizes for low team scores, longest drives and closest to the pins on various holes.
Lunch will be served after golf at the Outing Club.
This year the Opening Day Tournament will be held on Sunday May 17th.
