Can we put a price on the opportunity for Dartmouth students and members of the community...
Yes - we can!
The Handel Society of Dartmouth College is known for offering fine musical, educational and social opportunities. To continue to provide these opportunities - and to sustain the tradition of providing artistry, excellence and innovation for our audiences - our financial foundation must be secure. The Friends of the Handel Society of Dartmouth College works to ensure our ensemble's financial security.
The Handel Society's successes since 1807 are built not only on the support and hard work of Dartmouth College and our students and community singers, but also on the generous gifts of families, community groups, businesses and corporations. Our history of achievement in the areas of training, touring, recording and choral artistry has shown us that we CAN put a price on this unique experience and the costs of supporting a world-renowned choral ensemble. Your support through the Friends of the Handel Society of Dartmouth College will be applied to areas of greatest need:

In addition to the Friends of the Handel Society, which is part of Dartmouth College, you may be interested in supporting the Handel Society Foundation of New Hampshire (or HSFNH). Incorporated in 1992, HSFNH is an entirely separate not-for-profit organization which has no formal connection to Dartmouth College.
This small foundation has a dual mission: to provide financial support to the Handel Society, and to support and promote choral singing more generally in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont. In addition to funding special projects for the Handel Society, the Foundation has supported the Handel Society Bicentennial celebration by helping underwrite the cost of a newly commissioned work and by funding, with the assistance of the Byrne Foundation, the preparation of a bicentennial history and accompanying CD of historic recordings. In order to promote choral music more generally, the Foundation has embarked on a program of grants to regional choral organizations and has funded, with the assistance of the Mascoma Foundation, the purchase of high quality microphones to record local performances.
