Position Statement on ROTC

A GSA task force has created a position statement regarding the existence of the College's support for Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) on the Dartmouth campus. The national policy of Don't Ask, Don't Tell is an inherently discriminatory policy that conflicts with Dartmouth's Principle of Community, which guarantees equal opportunity to all undergraduates, regardless of (among other factors) sexual orientation.

This position statement will be distributed to the Board of Trustees, to the Student Assembly, to the President's office, and to a host of other campus organizations in an effort to bring about change regarding the College's policy towards ROTC. Read the full position statement here.
