Discussion: Course Readings
This page is intended for comments on and questions about the assigned readings for the course. It will be monitored by the instructor and used as a partial basis for evaluating individual students' class participation [10% of the final grade]. This is a particularly valuable place to note reactions to readings, or questions about them, at a time when the reading is actually being done, or very shortly thereafter. Students are encouraged to respond to the "published" reactions of their classmates as well as to make primary observations of their own: this page is intended to be a locus of discussion and debate, not simply a notice board listing opinions.
