The Green Key Society is a junior honorary service organization at Dartmouth College. We have 44 members, 20 of whom are elected from the class at large, and 24 of whom are nominated by such various campus organizations as the Dartmouth College Athletic Department, Nathan Smith Society, Fusion Dance troupe, and many many more. The organization was founded back in the 1920's to provide a leadership role for the junior class, as well as to aid the College. Since then, our role has changed and grown, even unto the present day.

Green Key is charged with service to and leadership in the Dartmouth Community. Within the College, we are 44 pairs of willing hands and minds, eager to help out where needed. Outside its borders, we are, in effect, ambassadors of the College. Green Key finds itself in a unique position, enjoyed by very few groups on campus - our members are drawn from literally all across the College. Thus we are, like no other group can be, a group of 44 junior leaders. By virtue of our roles as stewards, ambassadors, and servants, every year, Green Key helps out at such events as First-Year Orientation, the Homecoming Sweep and the Bonfire, Commencement, Green Key Weekend, and many other events including performances, services, and guest speakers.
