For several terms, Alpha Theta Coed has hosted professor dinner-discussions. These involve, essentially, dinner plus discussion with some of Dartmouth's leading professors. These have proven extremely popular and have enjoyed high attendance rates, both by members of the house as well as those who enjoy food and intellectual discussion. Recent discussions have included "The Rationality of Religion" with Professor Sinnott-Armstrong of Dartmouth's philosophy department, "The Agony of Ecstasy: the truth about MDMA" with psychollogy professor Fay Guarraci, and "Reading Yeats" with Professor Davies from the English Department.
