Poster for the 2012 Winter Carnival

The 101st Winter Carnival, “Carnival in Candyland: The Sweetest Carnival Ever,” will be held February 9 through 11. The three-day event includes a mix of lighthearted outdoor activities and athletic contests such as the Polar Bear Swim, the family-friendly Occom Pond Party, and the Division I downhill races at the Dartmouth Skiway.

In addition to events like the 99 cent Ski Day, and the Carnival Ball, there will also be a sculpture contest at this year’s carnival.
