International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD)

The International Conference on Population and Development was held in Cairo, Egypt September 5-13, 1994. Preparations for this Conference lasted over three years. The history of the ICPD and other background information can be found in Volume 6 of the Earth Negotiations Bulletin and at the ICPD gopher site.
