Gavin Huang is a freelance visual journalist specializing in photography and video. Born and raised in New York City's Chinatown, he was first introduced to photography through classes at the International Center of Photography. He now divides his time between the pristine mountains of New Hampshire and the skyscrapers of New York.
Gavin's work has appeared in Dartmouth College's campus daily The Dartmouth, the New Hampshire Union Leader, and The Economist. He is currently pursuing degrees in government and film studies at Dartmouth College.
In addition to editorial work, Gavin has done event photography for weddings, social organizations, and Dartmouth College's public relations office. He has produced video content for media organizations, non-profits, and music groups with the same journalist's aesthetic of his editorial work. Gavin is available for commercial work and events.
