Illness and Exams

If you believe that you are too sick to take an exam, get in touch with your instructor and a dean IMMEDIATELY. If Dick's House can corroborate your need for a delay, you MAY be able to have the exam postponed (and an Incomplete arranged, if necessary, if illness occurs at the end of the term). The authority to allow a postponement rests with your instructor (in consultation with a dean, if an Incomplete is necessary), but the illness must be genuine and debilitating. It is within the instructor's authority to deny your request, so do not presuppose leniency.
