While you are awaiting your first information packet from the First-Year
Office, you may want to mark your calendars.
September 2 to September 16 - Dartmouth Outing Club Trips
Although not an official part of Orientation, Dartmouth is noted for its
Outing Club (DOC) trips which are intended to introduce new students to the
natural splendor of northern New England and to make friends among
classmates. This fall's DOC Trips are the Outing Club's 73rd annual
program. You will receive more information about this opportunity in late May;
trip assignments will be made in early August.
September 16 - Move-In Day
September 17 - Orientation Begins
September 24 - Classes begin
Spring, 2009 - First-Year Family Weekend (date will be established by June
2008)
