Major: Economics with Italian Minor

Current Work and Impact of Italian Minor: Right now I am working for the Royal Bank of Canada as a bond trader. I minored in Italian at Dartmouth, and it’s actually been a lot more useful in the real world than I would have expected. I’ve come across several people through work that speak Italian, and in some cases, I’ve been able to help other traders do business with Italian accounts. Also there have been multiple times I’ve been out in New York City and run into actual Italians at restaurants or on the train. I have able to speak with them and even give them directions.
