The Department of French and Italian has the annual honor of sending an outstanding graduate to the prestigious Ecole Normale Supérieure in Lyon, France for a year of study. The student, who is housed at the school, has the opportunity to teach English in a French lycée. In exchange, Dartmouth hosts a student from the E.N.S. on campus as a French and Italian Affinity Housing resident and French drill instructor.
