Parking for Individuals with Disabilities

Dartmouth recognizes all valid State issued accessible parking plates and placards. Dartmouth employees and Dartmouth students with State issued accessible parking passes still need to obtain a Parking permit from our office.

Special Parking Request Form

A Special Parking Request Form must be submitted to the Parking Office before a temporary permit can be issued. The form must be filled out and signed by a medical professional. The form is also available in the Parking. DO NOT submit the form on line. It may be faxed to 603-646-1205 or submitted in person to the Parking Office at 6 Vox Lane, McKenzie Hall to the attention of Robin Guay.

All accessible parking spaces and accessible parking entranceways are marked with the proper signage. Anyone who blocks the path to an accessible parking entrance or parks in accessible parking spaces without a proper issued accessible parking plate or placard will be ticketed and/or towed at the owners' expense.

Temporary Accessible Parking

Students with temporary impairments are encouraged to use Safety and Security's services to get around campus.  Parking on campus is extremely limited and the Parking Office will issue permits based on the need and availability.
