All interior painting at the College is done on the basis of need. No
predetermined time period between paint jobs has been established. Upon
request, FO&M will review the condition of an area and, if it is agreed
that painting is necessary, the work will be scheduled. The paint shop has
standard paint charts available from which room colors may be chosen.
Periodic inspections are made by FO&M personnel in all areas of the
College. Where possible, and to conserve funds, entire floors of buildings are
scheduled at one time so that setup costs can be minimized.
Exterior painting is scheduled and performed by FO&M with outside
contractors. It is normally done on a six-year cycle. If you notice problem
areas, please call Work Control.
