Hinman Box (HB) Post Office assignments, with appropriate nine-digit zip
code, will be mailed in early August to incoming students. Students should have
correspondence and packages mailed to their boxes, located on the first floor
of the Hopkins Center.
The Office of Residential Life assigns Hinman boxes to undergraduate
students only. (Graduate students are accommodated at their respective
schools.) Box numbers are retained by students for the duration of continuous
enrollment at the College. Dartmouth-originated mail addressed to students from
College departments and offices may be sent via inter-campus mail to the Hinman
Post Office box number (not to their dormitory address) to avoid U. S.
Postage.
Note: Fraternities, Sororities and Student Organizations are assigned boxes in
the 5000 series at Collis Center. Mail can be sent to them through the
Intra-campus Mail Service also.
