Comments:

TRMM TMI data show the northeast monsoon that came off the Gulf of Thailand and began dumping heavy rain on Southern Thailand on December 3; the heavy rain persists through December 7th. Flash flooding occured in the southern coastal provinces of Chumpon, Songkhla, Naratiwat, Pattani and Yala.

In these images:

Rainfall and snowfall: yellow and white areas (yellowish white is highest intensity precipitation)

Oceans: light blue (low water vapour) to dark blue (high water vapour)
