Comments:

TRMM TMI data show the developement of the two day downpour that inundated the Durban area of KwaZulu-Natal Province. Over four inches of rain fell in ten hours over the city of Durban on October 26. Rain can be seen begining on October 24 and growing more intense on the 25th and 26th; by the 27th the weather has cleared.

In these images:

Rainfall and snowfall: yellow and white areas (yellowish white is highest intensity precipitation)

Oceans: light blue (low water vapour) to dark blue (high water vapour)
