Ideas from the Dartmouth Community

As Dartmouth addresses its current budget challenges, suggestions from the Dartmouth community continue to be received. Suggestions regarding the Fiscal 2011 budget are now being collected and categorized, and will be posted on this site soon.

In the fall of 2008 and winter of 2009, more than 300 suggestions and ideas were received from students, staff, faculty, and alumni regarding potential cost-cutting measures and ways to improve efficiency. A number of outcomes were reached, many based on the suggestions received as part of the Budget Reconciliation Process. You can view some of last year's suggestions by clicking the categories below.

And the College continues to invite staff, faculty, and students to make additional suggestions. You can submit your ideas here.
