Investor Responsibility Research Center Access

Members of the Dartmouth community may directly access information contained on the Investor Responsibility Research Center (IRRC) web site from two terminals located in the Dartmouth library system.  The IRRC web site contains a wealth of information relating to proxy resolution voting and companies subject to proxy resolutions.  The site also contains Background Reports on the social issues areas that ACIR examines in proxy resolutions and offers suggestions as to why a shareholder may choose to support or oppose a given proxy resolution in light of a multitude of factors.  IRRC is the leading source of high quality, impartial information on corporate governance and social responsibility. Founded in 1972, IRRC provides proxy research and analysis, benchmarking products, as well as proxy voting services to more than 500 institutional investors, corporations, law firms, foundations, academics and other organizations. IRRC is unique in the industry as it does not advocate on any side of the issues it covers. Clients can be assured that IRRC data and analyses are objective and unbiased.

Location of Terminals:

Baker-Berry Library

Once you enter the Berry Library, there is a dedicated terminal located directly behind the Reference Desk.  Please ask at the reference desk for assistance. To access the IRRC site, double click on the IRRC icon on that terminal’s desktop.

Feldberg Library

Terminal 3 in the Feldberg Library also provides access to the IRRC web site.  To gain access, simply log in and double click on the IRRC icon located on the desktop.

If you have any questions regarding how to use the IRRC site, please contact ACIR’s Executive Administrator at ACIR@dartmouth.edu.
