The Financial Aid Policies are accurate for the 2011 – 2012 academic year. However, Dartmouth reserves the right to make, from time to time, such changes in its operations, programs and activities as the Trustees, faculty and Officers consider appropriate and in the best interests of the Dartmouth Community.
Students applying for Dartmouth scholarship funds are required to complete or update the Scholarship Data Sheet online for the 2012-2013 academic year. Scholarship funds will not post to a student’s account unless the online form has been updated.
Students will need to update the online Data Sheet every year during their application process. Information from the previous year's Data Sheet will be saved; students will only need to update the relevant information from year to year.
Dartmouth has over 700 named scholarship funds, many of which have restrictions and preferences for students with certain areas of interest and fields of study. It is critical that we collect this information from all scholarship recipients so that we can match students to appropriate scholarship funds. The funding for a student’s general scholarship award will be replaced by an endowed fund if the Financial Aid Office is able to match them with a donor’s specifications.
The Scholarship Data Sheet is accessible through Banner Student Self-Service. From the Undergraduate Student Main Menu, choose ‘Financial Aid Menu,’ then choose ‘Scholarship Data Sheet.’
