Film students participate in Film Festival, win Film Slam contest

Film Studies students engaged in the White River Indie Film festival, held from April 26th to the 28th.  With an emphasis on transmedia storytelling, Allie Young '13, Annie Munger '13, Rena Sapon-White '14, Alex Stockton '15 and others attended panels and met with filmmakers, scholars, artists and theorists.  In addition, Annie Munger '13 and Rena Sapon-White '14 (the "Lumiere Sisters") created a film for the 48 Hour Film Slam, resulting in a win for their efforts- a documentary about the Polka Dot Diner, Diner on the Tracks.  Read more about this exciting weekend here in The D.
