Documentary Filmmaker Frederick Wiseman visited with Film & Media Studies students in the Wilson Hall studio Friday afternoon. Mr. Wiseman and the students discussed his many films, filmmaking techniques and philosophy, and thoughts on the future of documentary film.
Later that evening, he was presented with the Dartmouth Film Award, and after a screening of his new film "La Danse: The Paris Opera Ballet" participated in a question and answer session with Film & Media Studies professor Jeffrey Ruoff.
