Professor Mack to participate in screenings this summer

Thursday, May 31 - S8 Mostra de Cinema Periférico
"Yard Work is Hard Work" was included in a knock-out line up of collage animations under the heading "the new monster" in Spain. The program featured works by Martha Colburn and Larry Jordan.

Thursday, 6/14 - solo screening at Boston University art Gallery
Professor Mack will present a selection of animations at a one-person screening at Boston University Art Gallery.

Saturday, June 22 - Directors Cuts
"A Joy" will participate in a program full of cameraless film creations in Houston, Texas.

Saturday and Sunday, June 22 and 23 - Onion City Film Festival
"Persian Pickles" and "Point de Gaze" will accompany Lewis Klahr's "The Pettifogger" at this year's Onion City Film Festival.

Friday, July 20 - Cut and Paste
Professor Mack will present a curated selection of contemporary collage animations at the Anthology Film Archives. The program features work by noted animators like Jim Trainor, Kelly Sears, Stacey Steers, and Amy Lockhart.

July/August
Persian Pickles will participate as part of Radon Lake's PRIVATE TERRITORY European tour with dates in St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Reykjavik, and Stockholm

August 6-11
Professor Mack will participate in a panel on Handmade Film Production and screen "Yard Work is Hard Work" at this year's University Film and Video Association conference in Chicago.
