We are Dartmouth College's fencing club team! We welcome fencers of all skill levels; some members have years of experience and competitions under their belts, while others join with zero knowledge of fencing. Everyone is welcome; our only requirement is a genuine interest in fencing, as well as a commitment to come to practices and improve as a team member and individual fencer.

The team at Club Nationals at Purdue in April 2023!

We strive to promote a fun fencing environment where we can all share our love for the sport, while still succeeding at tournaments. Our team has accomplished much both regionally and nationally, regularly placing highly both as a team and as individuals. At the 2023 Club Nationals, two of our fencers placed 2nd and 7th in women's foil and women's sabre respectively. The team was the 2018 club national champions. Prior to that, we placed 2nd overall, and 1st for our women’s team at Club Nationals in 2016, and won 1st overall in 2014. In addition, we won the NFC Women’s Team Coaching Staff award in 2016 and 2014, showing the strength of the community that we have built as a team.

As an entirely student-run club, we would be nothing without our members--past, present, and future. Our members are connected, not only through a love for fencing but also through the bonds that we create and develop while practicing and competing together. Teammates often become some our our closest on-campus friends through these shared experiences! If you are looking for a hardworking yet lighthearted and fun-loving group centered around possibly the coolest sport of all time, look no further than the Dartmouth College Fencing Club!
