Description: The Ad*Access Project presents images and database information for over 7,000 advertisements printed in U.S. and Canadian newspapers and magazines between 1911 and 1955. Ad*Access concentrates on five main subject areas: Radio, Television, Transportation, Beauty and Hygiene, and World War II, providing a coherent view of a number of major campaigns and companies through images preserved in one particular advertising collection available at Duke University. The advertisements are from the J. Walter Thompson Company Competitive Advertisements Collection of the John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising, and Marketing History in Duke University's Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library.

Title: ALFRED: ArchivaL Federal Reserve Economic Data

Description: Using ALFRED you can retrieve vintage versions of data that were available on specific dates in history. In general, economic data for past observation periods are revised as more accurate estimates become available. As a result, previous vintages of data can be superceded and may no longer be available from various data sources.

Currently, vintage data are available for 205 series in 5 FRED categories: Consumer Price Index, Producer Price Index, Employment and Population, U.S. Trade and International Transactions, Business/Fiscal. The earliest vintage available is January 17, 1996. Over time, this will increase the number of series and vintages available.
