Eugene Demidenko

EUGENE DEMIDENKO is Professor at Section of Biostatistics and Epidemiology, Dartmouth Medical School and Adjunct Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Dartmouth College. He received his PhD in Mathematics and Statistics from the Central Institute of Economics and Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. His research interests, besides mixed models, cover a broad range of statistics and applied mathematics including image statistics and reconstruction, uniqueness and existence in optimization problems, mathematical biology, sample size determination, asymptotic hypothesis testing, and much more. He has served as an invited lecturer to several institutes/academies around the world.
