The Winter Break Internship Program at University of Miami School of Law Center for Ethics and Public Service
December 7 – 11, 2015
Sponsored by the Ethics Institute at Dartmouth College and the University of Miami School of Law Center for Ethics and Public Service
The Ethics Institute is partnering with the Center for Ethics and Public Service at the University of Miami School of Law to provide an intensive five-day seminar in applied ethics and the law. Professor Anthony Alfieri (University of Miami Professor of Law and Dean's Distinguished Scholar) and Professor Aine Donovan (Dartmouth College) will work with a select group of Dartmouth undergraduate students to explore issues of legal ethics, conflict resolution and community service.
The seminar will be an intensive morning session with law students, and the afternoon session will focus on exploring community projects in the greater Miami area. Miami's Center for Ethics and Public Service has a partnership with the historically black churches in the area, and the students will meet with religious leaders and community organizers who have established programs in conflict resolution.
