Anthony Alfieri

Anthony Alfieri is a Professor of Law and Dean's Distinguished Scholar at the University of Miami School of Law.  He is the Director of the Center for Ethics and Public Service (CEPS) and Founder and Director of the Historic Black Church Program.

Professor Alfieri's research at Dartmouth College's Ethics Institute focuses on the ethics of autonomy and paternalism in law and public policy, specifically the justification for coercive paternalism in the contexts of civil rights law, corporate counseling, criminal justice, education, and social services.
