Transportation

Hanover, New Hampshire is located in the Upper Valley of New England, a beautiful, but semi-remote part of the state. The airport that is most frequently used is the Manchester, NH airport . Manchester serves as a hub for Southwest airlines. Upon arriving at Manchester it is an hour and a half drive to Dartmouth. Car rentals are available at the airport.

Boston's Logan Airport is another option for travel. It is approximately 2 ½ hours from Hanover, either by rental car, or the Dartmouth Coach bus line .

Other airports include: Burlington, Vt (approximately 2 ½ hours from Hanover), Hartford, CT (approximately 3 hours) or, if money is not a serious concern, a small airport in Lebanon, NH (approximately 10 miles from campus).
