DARTMOUTH UNDERGRADUATE PHILOSOPHY CONFERENCE

April 4-6, 2008

Extended Deadline:

Due to several requests to extend our deadline, submissions for both Aporia (journal) and the conference will be extended through February 1st, 2008. To clarify, students do NOT have to register when submitting and can wait to receive confirmation of acceptance to the conference. Non-presenters are more than welcome to participate in the conference and we are striving to make the experience enjoyable on all levels of engagement. Decisions will be given out on a rolling-basis beginning in mid-January. Top papers will be eligible for cash prizes in addition to publication.

Keynote Speaker:

We are excited to announce that Dr. Harry Frankfurt, professor emeritus of Princeton University and author of bestsellers "On Bullshit," "On Truth," and "Demons, Dreamers, and Madmen" has agreed to serve as the keynote speaker. His academic interests explore moral philosophy, philosophy of mind, and rationalism. Please read more about our guest in the links provided below.
