Join the Ethics Institute As We Discuss "The Passion of the Christ" Sunday, April 11

April 4,2003 . Following the Easter Sunday (April 11) showing of "The Passion of the Christ", (6:30 PM, Spaulding Auditorium) the Ethics Institute will host a discussion of the film. Join us for a spirited examination of the film at Alumni Hall immediately following the film.

The discussion will be moderated by Aine Donovan, Executive Director of the Ethics Institute at Dartmouth College. Panelists will include Ronald M. Green, Susannah Heschel, Kent Dahlberg, Pamela Grace, Roberto Blancarte and AnneMarie Lukkejcket.

Panelists:

Roberto J. Blancarte is a Professor of Sociology of Religion at El Colegio de Mexico. He obtained his PH. D. at the Ecoles des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (Paris, France).

Kent Dahlberg is a chaplain with the Tucker Foundation at Dartmouth College.

Pamela Grace teaches film at the City University of New
York. She has written articles on "The Passion" for Cineaste and The Quarterly Review of Film and Video.

Ronald M. Green is chair of the Department of Religion and the Faculty Director of Dartmouth Ethics Institute.

Susannah Heschel, chair of the Jewish Studies Program at Dartmouth, has published extensively on Christian-Jewish relations.

AnneMarie Luijendijk is a visiting lecturer in Early Christianity and New Testament in the Religion Department at Dartmouth College.
