Hanover, New Hampshire is located in the Upper Valley of New England, a beautiful, but semi-remote part of the state. The airport that is most frequently used is the Manchester, NH airport . Manchester serves as a hub for Southwest airlines and has very reasonable fares. Upon arriving at Manchester it is an hour and a half drive to Dartmouth. Car rentals are available at the airport, or, if you prefer, there is a bus line that makes regular trips between the airport and the college.
Boston's Logan Airport is another option for travel. It is approximately 2 ½ hours from Hanover, either by rental car, or the Dartmouth Coach bus line .
Other airports include: Burlington, Vt (approximately 2 ½ hours from Hanover), Hartford, CT (approximately 3 hours) or, if money is not a serious concern, a small airport in Lebanon, NH (approximately 10 miles from campus).

Parking is at a premium on campus, but there are 3 parking spaces in front of Kemeny/Haldeman Centers Building. Other possibilities for available parking space are in the lot at the Dartmouth Medical School Admissions office on Maynard Street or in the Ledyard lot located on Dewey Field Road, which is a left turn at the traffic light on College Street (just past the Medical School).
