Overview of Facilities of the EPR Center
The EPR
Center and related facilities are located at several places within the
Dartmouth complex, in order to make the facilities available where they can be
utilized optimally by collaborators. The main part of the center is in a large
laboratory complex on the Hanover campus (site of Dartmouth College, the
Thayer School of Engineering, and many of the basic science laboratories of
Dartmouth Medical School). Some of the EPR equipment and supporting facilities
recently have been placed in the imaging section of the new Cancer Research
Laboratories at the hospital campus (Lebanon, DHMC), where the EPR activities
are an important part of the imaging facility for the Cancer Center. The
clinical EPR Facility consists of 3 rooms located with the division of
Radiation Oncology.

The
major equipment of the Center consist of the EPR spectrometers and
resonators that have been specifically designed for a wide range of
biomedical and in vivo experiments. Many of these resources are
unique to the Center.
