 A Memorial Service was held for the late Noel Perrin, Professor of English, Emeritus and Adjunct Professor of Environmental Studies at Dartmouth on Saturday, January 22, at 2 pm, in Rollins Chapel. It was followed by a reception in the Sanborn House.
Ned was known for publications that included an article in Vermont Life about electric cars, another on "green" colleges, an article in the Chronicle of Higher Education on grading practices at Dartmouth, about a dozen essays in freshman readers, and book reviews in the Washington Post and the L.A. Times. Classes he taught in ENVS were ENVS 1, ENVS 7, and ENVS 72. He is greatly missed.
