About

The Dr. Koop Timeline Project

“The best prescription is knowledge.”
-- Dr. C. Everett Koop

The goal of the Dr. Koop Timeline Project is to create a modern online presence for the former surgeon general that not only preserves the accomplishments of his past, but also explores his current initiatives and acts as a portal to the various topics that will become the focus of the C. Everett Koop Institute as we move further into the 21st century.

This project is in its infancy.

The hope is that within a year, a new Web site will help Dartmouth College students and the public connect past, present and future with a new type of synergy that can aid in painting a picture of what health care should look like in the 21st century.
