Recommendations for Paper Writing -
In your papers we'll be looking for solid research, imagination, and really good writing (clear and well organized). To help maintain good paper organization, you are strongly encouraged to Use APA format.
Format Requirements:
Use APA format with headings and standard citations. A separate page with bibliography of sources is required. Please use line spacing of 1.5, standard margins, and 11pt or 12 pt type.
- Create an outline before you begin writing,
- Use outline topics as headings to organize your paper [APA Formatting Style],
- Use the paragraph as unit of organization .
Outlines: In the outlines you should explain:Here is a good example of a paper written using APA style. Notice how the outline for this paper is reflected in the frequent bold headings throughout the paper. :
- The topic you are going to address.
- An outline of the structure you are going to take.
- The list of sources you intend to use.
