The English major includes a declared concentration area as well as a required distribution of courses. Students plan their courses and choose a concentration area in consultation with a faculty advisor in their sophomore year and review their progress in the major with their faculty advisor in the spring term of their junior year or fall term of their senior year.
The modified major in English includes a declared concentration area as well as a required distribution of courses. One or two of the modifying courses must be included in the concentration area. Detailed information on the modified major in English.
