Grids are placed on droplets of 4% Uranyl acetate in H2O on dental wax in
a covered petri dish for 45 min. Rinse with 20 dips in 100 ml H2O (boiled
and cooled to de-gas).
Place the grids on droplets of Reynolds lead citrate for 10 seconds and
rinse with 3 drops each in
(1) 100 ml 0.02N NaOH
(2) 100 ml CO2 free H2O
(3) 100 ml CO2 free H2O and blot.
